  1. Some corrections: tartarus is not hell, it’s a magic-proof prison (see s8 finale)

Sombra died 2 times, then when resurected the third time tried to kill himself out of regret for his past (see comics)

Celestia has gone rogue twice, once in a pony’s dream where she made the sun explode, and once in the comics.

Also, starlight’s regime was worth being mentionned as well as how ponies were extremely racist thousands of years ago

  2. Pretty sure Applejack is named for a type of whisky, not the cereal. Not really a ‘dark’ fact, but it suggests that they’re brewing more than cider on that farm 😉

  3. More dark concepts in this show:
Ironic Abuse (Spike’s mistreatment, mostly by the Mane Six and pretty much everyone).
Homicide( Garble’s dragon lord plans for destroying equestria).
    Disturbing paranoia and OCD (Twilight).

  4. IMO, the Darkest moment in MLP is when we first meet Starlight, and when they sing the line in “Our Town” that goes, “You can’t have a nightmare, if you never dream.”
