  1. Guys, you do realize the guys at Alltime10s are Brits as well, right? At least some of them.

Yeah every country is guilty of some wrongs ( I’m Belgian…We slaughtered 11 millions people in Congo back in the 19th Century). But not talking about it wouldn’t ever help going forward. We need to accept the bad in order to do good in the future.

  2. british broke the india apart to make it unstable and cause more problem, also they took whatever they wanted they took nepali soldiers and help them in winnig war today………

  3. Not defending the slave trade obviously, all slavery everywhere of any kind is barbaric. Just getting facts straight.
I’m sorry, but you can’t say the British were the force behind the transatlantic slave trade.
First off, it was local warlords who originally capture the slaves, then sell them to Europeans.
Secondly, the first Europeans to engage in the slave trade were actually the Portuguese.
Thirdly, it was British, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Belgians and later Americans and Germans who were responsible for its continuation, not just one. In general it was Europeans as a whole, rather than people from any one country.

Again, this isn’t a justification. People just need to fact check before laying blame.
