Outlast 2: dead baby crunching noises. Not even in the list. A shame.
So Witcher 3 scenes with people being burned alive aren’t disturbing at all?
How about Hellblade? It never even got onto the list, although it’s core theme and, as a result, it’s gampleplay – are plenty disturbing. And it’s even no use to try an say “but it just came out” – it’s just about 6 hours long and people already got platinum trophies for it, the very same day it came out!
While, frankly, Spec Ops: The Line does just that – just walks “the line” by only showing results of squad’s actions, and not daring to go any further by showing at least a messy cut of people being burned alive by that god damn white phosporus, episode that every similar countdown just has to mention.
