  1. Season 1-7, Season 8 1-2 (inc. lore of Ice & Fire)
It doesn’t matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne
Soon comes the cold, the night that never ends
How many boys dwell in Westeros? How many girls? How many men, how many women? The darkness will devour them all
Thousands of years ago, there came a night that lasted a generation. Kings froze to death in their castles, same as the shepherds in their huts; and women smothered their babies rather than see them starve, and wept, and felt the tears freeze on their cheeks… In that darkness, the White Walkers came for the first time. They swept through cities and kingdoms, riding their dead horses, hunting with their packs of pale spiders big as hounds.

Battle of Winterfell – Night King dead, alongside all of the Others, wrapped up in 1 hr, 20mins. Despite not appearing in the previous 2 episodes.
Am I the only one who is traumatised that one of the most anticipated events in the history of ANYTHING (TV, Movies, Books), the SECOND LONG NIGHT, was concluded in ONE EPISODE? The last Long Night LASTED A GENERATION, a massive WAR fought between the White Walkers, the Fist Men and the Children, rich in history and depth. All of this wasted.

Who gives a FUCK about the Iron Throne? We’ve had 7 seasons covering all the Kings, Wars, and plots to claim it! The Others are supposed to the ultimate end, the approaching doom, the fucking end times. All that suspense, prophecy, and history to work with, and we get Arya Fucking Stark sticking a dagger into all of it. I can’t believe it.

  2. I think this episode preview shows the aftermath and then a little while after. Rhaegal was seriously hurt with his kicking Viserions tail! I think it opens with him not being able to fly and he has to heal. The shot of Dany (new red dress) and Drogon smiling up, is them watching Jon and Rhaegal fly again. That red dress is definitely the one Dany was wearing in front of the Dragonstone fireplace from the preseason trailers.

  3. Where is Jaime?
Is he back to Kingslanding after fulfilling his oath? Is he joining Dany? Is he in jail?
I do not see him in the trailer!!
