  1. What about Myron Beldock and Leon Friedman, lawyers who represented Rubin ‘Hurricane’ Carter, who fought successfully to have his wrongful conviction overturned?

Michael Warren, the famed civil rights lawyer who fought to have the Central Park Five exonerated [and played a key role in their case, in their exoneration, as well as a settlement against those who worked towards jailing them?]

Mark Rabil and Jim Ferguson, who defended Darryl Hunt, in a twenty-year battle to have his wrongful murder conviction overturned?

Samuel Leibowitz, who took on the Scottsboro case during the 1930s, even though his efforts fell short to prove their innocence (because of on-going racism in the South that was occurring at the time). The nine men were posthumously pardoned in 2013.

Arthur L. Aidala, who represented Brigitte Harris, the woman who killed her father, Eric Goodridge, by cutting off his penis and smothering him to death with a towel(as well as handcuffing him). She then sprayed pepper-spray on him.
She was found guilty of the lesser charge of second-degree manslaughter [thanks to her heartfelt life-story] and given 5 to 15 years, despite numerous pleas to have her released on time served. She was released in 2012 [and I trust she is doing well].

These lawyers were or have been, very good lawyers. They should’ve been included, along with F. Lee Bailey, Clarence Darrow, Alan Dershowitz, Marcia Clark as well as Gloria Allred.
