Porkelator in Hexen. Because who doesn’t like bacon? Similar to the Shrink Ray, but you get delightful little oinking sounds to go with it… and embarrassingly enough it is actually possible to be killed by a pig’s weak melee attack if you don’t pay attention.

No comment on the fact that the Solar Gun is actually taken from another game? Boktai was a really cool and weird game back in the GBA games, sad to see that bit get glossed over, but admittedly it wasn’t the most well known Konami title :/
