    1. I’m in my 60’s and when I was a kid in the Scouts the thing about moss growing on the north side of trees was taught. But, I could never figure it out. I just always thought it was because I was in South Carolina and the books were printed up north.

    2. Top 10 Archive , Jim my old lady departed in 2011 during the World Series, she heard you could replace sugar with coke on your cereal and it would help her lose weight, I told her that was nonsense but she swore it had to be true because she read it on the Internet,

    3. Top 10 Archive , Jim I love your sense of humor, Flint, Mi. has a lovely woodland ? You guys Rock anyhow, love the humor included in the seemingly serious videos !!

    4. Top 10 Archive a couple of these are only half correct 1 in almost all cases swimming somewhat parallel to shore is the best idea in a rip current. 2 boiling water is only ineffective if the water has heavy man made chemicals in it. Which means you should be able to see civilization from where your standing. In a wilderness survival situation it’s best to boil water before drinking it if at all possible.
