So what do you think about the NEW Twilight Zone?
Only watched “The Comedian” so far but it was just awful. Only 10 seconds were enjoyable and that was (spoilers) when the insufferable jackass of a lead got what he deserved and disappeared, and that wasn’t even in the way they intended. Cheap premise, poor execution, and so much needless divisive political stupidity, it’s just painful to watch.
This sucks, this is the fourthl remake of Rod Serling brilliant and groundbreaking anthology series! Thats 3 too many remakes. You cannot make The Twilght Zone with Rod. Also they should’t make the episodes an hour long that’s too much waiting for the payoff. They tried it in season 4 and I got removed from Netflix. This show sucks!

The twilight zone and the outer limits were great shows it would be cool if they showed them again.

I wasn’t impressed by the first episode of this new reboot of Twilight Zone. It dragged on too long repeating the same points it had previously made. I expected an episode titled, “The Comedian” to actually be funny or thought provoking. The writers seemed more interested in seeing how much vulgarity they could insert into the show. I wanted a modern take with a classic fable style but all I got was boredom waiting for the predictable ending.
Sounds like the series is just one big gimmick. Will there be any originality or will the entire series just be remakes of the original?
