  1. *Top 5 Reasons People Dislike Nintendo*

*5. Lack of Third Party:* Nintendo has continually failed to sign on third parties which would appeal to a larger audience
*4. Lack of Good Online Play:* Their online services completely pale in comparison to other consoles’ and PC, even forcing people to resort to third-party peripherals/software to talk to people on Splatoon
*3. Lack of Power:* In Nintendo’s early days Nintendo had some powerful hardware (like with the SNES being better than Mega Drive/Genesis, and Nintendo 64 more powerful than PlayStation), but nowadays their hardware simply doesn’t pack a punch
*2. Lack of IPs:* Nintendo has some great IPs, but overall they appeal to a younger demographic (keep in mind that people often buy other consoles for more adult content and Nintendo’s lack of third parties doesn’t help this), and most importantly unlike the ’80s/’90s/early ’00s (some brilliant IPs back then) they simply aren’t making new IPs anymore which people grow tired of
*1. The Fanbase:* I for one am so sick of the snotty-nosed fanboys who think they’re better than anybody else because they’re “different” and have strong first-party games that nowadays it’s a strong reason why I’ve avoided Nintendo hardware altogether
