some island of the coast of Scotland as its not too far away for me to get to, and will be pretty safe
i would say any country in the northern hemisphere will suffer a nuclear winter and radiation levels off the charts. even the fallout from the Chernobyl reactor, ukraine, set off radiation alarms in scandinavia. ukraine, belarus, austria, finland and sweden were contaminated to high levels. the southern hemisphere has fewer targets, and will be protected by the lack of crossover winds through the equator.
