This week, the rumours were proven true. Ben Affleck did step down as director of The Batman. Ben is however, still going to play the caped crusader, but the names of replacement directors are already being thrown around, from George Miller to Denis Villeneuve. The latter of which receive big news this week, and has been given the director’s chair for the new Dune remake! Also, the small screen landed some big names when it was announced that Emma Stone and Jonah Hill would be reuniting on Cary Fukanaga’s Maniac to air on Netflix. He is putting 100% focus on the acting side. That is not “bailing”, that is
thinking practically and logically
He’s not BAILING, he said he can’t focus on directing and acting the batman
so he had to sacrifice directing it.. Shame though.

and Jack Nicholson!Everything else sucked.. except for the one where the
Joker was played by Heath Ledger!He was the star.
