This week had some crazy news come out of it! First off, Will Smith is in talks to step in as the Genie in Disney’s live-action remake of Aladdin, the role made famous by the legendary Robin Williams. The Little Hours dropped their first red band trailer which showed off Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza swearing and making out right to the end of it. And of course, the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 revealed that five post-credit scenes would be featured. I’m not saying Will Smith wouldn’t do a good job as the Genie, but I think they should have just used Robin Williams’ work line-by-line if they’re gonna do an Aladdin remake
No. No no no no no. Disney has ruined enough movies don’t you dare try to recreate robin williams’ genie. No this would be a slap in every child’s face to even attempt such a thing. Seriously disney stop while you’re behind.
