  1. people should focus on white washing people like moses, jesus, ramses, cleopatra but not on whitewashing a cyborg who is also white in the anime

  2. the whitewashing debate for this movie is beyond ridiculous. the anime
character looks more white than japanese in the first place and even has
blue eyes. Scarlett Johansson looks far more the part than any japanese
    woman could

  3. The Heath ledger documentary won’t make me shed a tear and you know why? Because I don’t give a shit about people that don’t give a shit about me, plain and simple

  4. It’s funny cause they cast Johanson, an A lister to try to bring in the crowds with a familiar face. They thought that’d bring them more money than if they hired an Asian actress. If they’d done that they’d probably actually have brought in the big bucks.

  5. Eeeeeyyyylmao. There was no white washing. Ghost in the shell had a diverse cast and they got actors who really matched the characters looks, Major was made into an android, the only people whining about whitewashing were people who never watched the anime.
