Wade does have a backstory and it kinds fucked. He was partying with his friends in the desert and bought meth from Trevor. Trevor killed all his friend and told Wade that they abandoned him and that he was the only person wade could trust. Then he got him addicted to meth and mix that with the violence and he was kinda his bitch.
