#1 There was a curse on the new mummy movie for screwing with history.
Hasnt number one been solved already? Its called The Water Shaft Theory. They used water and buoys to move/float the stone slabs to the area and up to the high levels to coninue the building. They used a model to show how it was done and it was technology the Egyptians knew of. Ok, its still a theory, but its the best and closest to the truth so far and it makes more sense than slaves etc being worked to death in the sun.

The biggest mysteries of Ancient Egypt:where did they know to mummyify the dead?
If you haven’t found Nefertiti’s tomb, how do you know she’s dead? She is just missing.
I was enjoying this until they said we don’t know how the pyramids were built. The Egyptians knew the six simple machines – wheel & axle, lever, inclined plane, pulley, screw and wedge. With those principles and unlimited time and labor, you can build almost anything, and certainly something as simple as a pyramid. They are amazing structures, but there’s no mystery to building them.
