I actually remember something that happened last 4th of July with my family. Apparently our big finale firework was damaged or defective, and instead of blowing from the top like it was supposed to, it blew outward and towards my entire family. Other than some minor spark hits on skin, nobody got hurt. Still a pretty scary site when you see flaming projectiles coming toward your face.

my uncle almost lost his hand and his life with a faulty firework. If my aunt wasn’t an icu nurse he would have died. This happened in front of 2 my young cousins, and one of them now has ptsd and is the most nervous child I have ever met. I’m spending thr night at her house to help her deal with the fear shes gonna be dealing with. be careful people. stay safe tonight.
