lmfao Our shitty local commericals is one of my favorite things about my country. EDIT: That’s a uvula, not tonsils. The hell?
Woah Humpty Dumpty is terrifying!!
Watchmojo got a little SJW I think.
Loves baby soft was a great scent at the time but the commercials were creepy af even then! I was never bothered by the Mr. Clean commercial. I thought it was cute and kind of funny.
There used to be a video on YouTube, sadly lost to the ravages of time, titled “KINDER DEATH”. It added subtitles to creepy Humpty Dumpty’s nonsense, and really amped the nightmare fuel up to 11. The basic narrative was that the eggs were part of his plot to exterminate the human race. It was great.
For creepy, low-budget abomination local advertising, nothing beats 1-800-VICTIM2’s dancing/rapping squirrel. “Animated” out of what look like an untalented four-year-old’s scribblings, and spewing phat rhymes like “Have you a neck broke from a crash you didn’t provoke?”, not only is it not GOOD, it’s incomprehensible. And NYC broadcast stations had (have?) this ad in *heavy* rotation late at night, every night.
This video sounds like it was made back when Watchmojo only has 10k subs.. is this a reupload?
What about Jones’ Good Ass BBQ and Foot Massage? Lol
I love puppymonkeybaby!!
Literally no one:
Watchmojo: “the way the ad reinforces gender role stereotypes”
The Oliver Jewellery “cashman” ads still play daily on CP24….as anyone who works somewhere with a tv in Toronto can attest to….
