I’m just saying there are a lot of recent earthquakes that did kill many and do a lot of damage too.
Samuel Mcclymont Well, we based this list strictly on the number of casualties and, surprisingly, even the 2011 Japanese quake fell short quite a bit.
Really weird that most of these earthquakes are limited to the 200k -300k range of deaths.

whenever i read or see or listen about the earthquake / tsunami in 2004 in indonesia i just start crying.
that aside since you mentioned it was one of the highest recorded quake. is there or will there be a Top 10 of highest recorded quakes? im quite interested in that.
