All these traditions are from Satan.
Ii’s still very popular in Germany to put lit candles on the christmas tree. I prefer ’em to electric candles myself.
i know fruitcake is cake with many fruit , but isn’t cake with fruit flavor basic a fruit , lemon cake is fruit for instance
My grandma had one that establishes her mercenary character: “You have to wear new clothes to church on Easter Sunday or the dogs will pee on you(!?)” I kinda think she made this one up herself, though she claimed it was a very old custom in her family.
