What about The Texas chainsaw massacre
Where the fuck is the original Poltergeist?? That movie gave countless people nightmares at it was rated PG!
You guys in the USA are lucky ..we in the UK have much stronger censorship laws so we do rate some of these movies X or 18 only.

Another one I think should be on this list is Beowulf. It’s not technically a horror movie, but even though it’s animated the scene where Grendel attacks the Great Hall had some pretty strong gore in it. Not to mention some near nudity.
