I feel like some of these are only dangerous because they were never meant for motorized vehicles, and certainly none any larger than a motorcycle.
Me and my H2B drive mountain passes every year for fun. They arent that dangerouse if you just slow down in the turns
On number two, bring a rifle with you and make sure you keep it loaded. If you break down, you have to keep away the bears somehow.
