Everything
OH YEAH YEAH
Why do people still call the trope “Women in fridges” when it was changed to “Stuffed in the fridge”?. I can name a few male characters whose death inspired another character to take action. Uncle Ben, Jason Todd, Krillin from DragonBall (Twice)etc. I know there are many more male examples too.
How come Robin dying isn’t a “man in a fridge”? Oh right, it’s only bad if it’s a woman. Got it, Watchmojo.
Most of that is related to batman and joker
Male sexual assault? Goosh goosh
I may have bit disturbed a year ago but after I read half of Berserk no shit can scare me
Women in fridges
Oh ,who will think of the people who don’t exist?
It must be weird for kids who are targeted by DC to get into Batman with all the seemingly innocent cartoons, toys, Lego, pajamas, duvet covers, etc. when they discover how fucked-up the main source material is… I’m glad DC doesn’t own the rights to A Serbian Film. They’d probably try and sell A Serbian Cartoon to kids…
Heroes in Crisis should have an honourable mention. A story marketed as a story focusing on mental health that actually has very little good representation of the topic and instead sees our favourite heroes being murdered for seeking help. Not a great message in any sense.
