  1. Hey guys, Dan from WatchMojo Here.

For those that are wondering why FNAF is a bit higher than Outlast…well, we spoke about it and we just thought those crazy animal things were more memorably nightmarish than murderous mental patients & doctors ¯_(ツ)_/¯
It’s something about the eyes, I think …

(Also, I think one of our employees had a really bad experience at Chucky Cheese when he was a kid but he won’t talk about it).

  2. Resident Evil 3 and 7 were both very scary. That freaking Nemesis chasing you around was horrible! And when Mia attacks you in 7 is still scaring me! I love the first Resident Evil, but 3 and 7 were both scarier.

  3. Good top choice. I was lucky enough to play it during the gamecubes hayday, and the first time the “You sat on the remote” effect played, me and my brother legit shot up and started scrambling to fix the input.

  4. 7:18 … This game is like the antithesis of FNAF. No jump scares, just a long, creeping sense of dread as you listen to the mindless horrors mumble in the hallways, counting each bullet, each med kit, and trying to stay alive. Cybernetic Modules were the most welcome sight in gaming history for me. If you’ve read this far, do yourself a favor and check out the new Prey, it contains the soul of System Shock, a lot more than Bioshock ever did.

  5. Games whose scare value comes solely from startling you has no credit. FNAF is closer to watching knee surgery than a horror movie. Ten times harder to watch, but is it fun?
