I want a tattoo of Hannibal Lecter but he isn’t a real serial killer. He is my favourite movie character, the actor, Anthony Hopkins is one of my favourite actors, the movie is one of my favourites and it was the movie that got me interested in serial killers and the psychology behind them/what they did. It would mean a lot to me because I am going to go to school for psychology and trying to study serial killers and understand them is what I want to focus on. I understand being fascinated by serial killers but getting a tattoo of one is too much. It almost romanticizes it and it extremely disrespectful to the victims and their families.
