  1. Slow burn? Are you kidding? Nothing pisses me off more is when a “scary” movie has everything happen in the last 20 mins. FYI, they don’t make scary movies anymore. Nothing beats the 70’s Exorcist and 80’s The Thing. It’s all garbage now.

  2. It was a lot like The VVitch. It was good, not great. A little slow to ‘build tension’, but I admittedly got a little bored. Good scenes here and there. I don’t feel cheated seeing it, but it’s no Exorcist by a long shot. The hype is 50% deserved.

  3. This was my first actual horror movie, and I found it quite weird. The start was great, although the lead up towards the end I didn’t really understand. The same thing for the very end of the movie. The mother just completely lost it when the father was burnt up, and that’s what I don’t understand…did something take over her or did she completely lost it and was trying to kill her son? But I do have to admit, that was very good acting from all members of the family. Again, my first horror movie.

  4. Yes i love the fact that it didn’t rely on jump scares…when she was in the corner like Spiderman and didnt move or disappear once the camera wasnt on her was fkkn CREEEEEPY… and the score when Charlie was Paimon was terrifying
