  1. To everyone who hasn’t yet figured this out, let me leave you with some knowledge. Black superman and white black panther are not equal comparisons. Black panther is the crowned prince/king of a country in Africa. Superman is an alien. We’re lucky superman looks like a human. Chances are more likely he turned out to be some feathered, 4 legged horselizard. And yes you can think it’s racist and a double standard that white people can’t play colored characters. Even though they have (Emma Stone as Hawaiian and Scarlett Johansson as Japanese) and will probably continue to do so, despite push back from white and non whites alike. Because no, it’s not racist that suddenly black people are receiving more chances to star in film roles, because guess what? White people still dominate that at a surprising percentage. James Bond is in the same boat as superman. He’s british, a good secret agent, and a smooth ladies man. None of those say he isn’t black. “But Rvr, he’s supposed to be able to blend in to society!” There are black people everywhere, guys. Just because there’s less of them doesn’t mean they stand out. Hopefully, it isn’t your fault that you’re accidentally racist. Hopefully you were just raised that way and can blame your parents. But the point is, not wanting another race to play your favorite characters simply because their race isn’t the right race, is a teensy bit racist.
