Hello and welcome back to the Most Amazing Channel on the internet! I am your host Rebecca Felgate and yesterday was a sad day. The historic heart of Paris, the Notre Dame Cathedral, caught fire. The building began construction in the late 12th Century, making it one of the oldest buildings in a city in the world. While the spire collapsed and the roof was severely damaged structurally the Notre Dame Cathedral still stands and the fire has stopped burning. Thank goodness. To pay our respects to this beautiful building, we are going to be talking the Top 10 Scary Notre Dame Urban legends โ before we get into the video, I want to ask if you guys have ever been to France, and if you havenโt, what is the oldest building you have visited.

What makes the Notre Dame Cathedral special is that it took 200 years to build! It was astonishing to see a building with that sort of structure when it was completed in 1345, especially with its famous gargoyles, statues, and intricate stain glass windows. It held and still holds a special place in Parisian hearts.

I’ve never left the US besides visiting the Canadian side of the Niagra Falls. But the oldest building I’ve been in has to be Martha Washington’s house in DC. I took a tour of the old house about 5 years ago and so beautiful. It even has a lake in the back yard that was so beutiful I could see myself just sitting there for hours refelcting
