Angela Bassett almost make oscar history she was nominated in ’93 What’s Love Got Do With bio-pic of Tina Turner she didn’t win she was offered the part in Monster’s Ball she turned down the role it went to Halle Berry and she made oscar history as the first woman in color to win an oscar Angela becomes jealous that Halle makes a historic win jealous or not she countine to work her career is safe and Halle isn’t after Catwoman bombed she been doing medicode roles and most roles have dried up oscars can make or break a career Angela still gets movie role and Halle denied movie roles.

I donk get it, does this mean the roles you take will win you an Oscar and not your actual acting chops?
While yes, the role DID win an Academy Award… It doesn’t mean that with the actor would have won.
It’s the actor, not the role. Doesn’t mean that if they took these roles they’d win. It still up to them and their performance.
