I thought that was Jojen Reed! Just never took the time to look it up.
I would more appropriately title this “Top 10 Star Wars episode 7 cameos.” Seeing as a majority of the list was from Force Awakens…
No Michael Giacchino as a stormtrooper or Kevin Smith as the voice of a stormtrooper? Either way, ONE MORE DAY!!!!!!!! 😀
These guys need more education on what a cameo is. Wicket is a main freaking character in Episode 6. That’s not a cameo.
I read somewhere that there are many, many more than people think. Obviously, hiding under costumes and make up; but there are a lot who appear quite clearly but are hiding in plain sight – as part of crowds etc (the blink and you’ll miss it moments) like Lucas’s appearance.
(Sophia Coppola is in there because her dad is close friends with her Director father)
Simon Pegg also helped out with scripting.
Example: Daniel Craig’s walk across the studios to appear in the Movie, happened with dozens of other well known actors and actresses.
A friend who does loads of work as an extra once told me that top actors like appearing in the tiniest parts on screen (in crowds etc) partly to be able to say “I was in…” because they can then freeze frame the clip. It’s apparently very common with British actors due to the wide variety of films made at Shepperton studios and on location around the place.
(Movie buff note: Peter Jackson has done a ‘Hitchcock’ and appeared somewhere in all of his films – easiest to see are in the Lord of the Rings – ask if you need to know)
I wish there be actors and actress from Ep 1 to 3 be in 7,8 and 9 as cameo disguise as space citizen with its body backwards or stormtrooper or alien cantina citizen or resistance trooper body backwards or helmet close its face it would be cool to see their names in credit ending !?

I knew it. Daniel Craig was that Stormtrooper Rey played the Jedi mind trick on. I kept telling my brother that but no he wouldn’t listen.
