  1. Sim games in general are pretty user friendly. My game library prior to age 10 was a bunch of old educational games (Carmen Sandiego, Cluefinders, Reader Rabbit, etc), Zoo Tycoon, and The Sims (plus several expansion packs). I would consider putting Animal Crossing on that list too. I may be a little biased given that it’s still one of my favorite game series, but then again, my mother (60-year-old non-gamer supreme who can barely work a DVD player) loved the original Animal Crossing.
