I used to live in Newbury, Berkshire, UK. We hadn’t seen a single wasp – then one day we opened the outside cupboard door, the hot summer air rushed in, and the wasps rushed out. (Newbury is not that far from Southampton). The pest management we called said it was the biggest nest he’d seen!!!! I had to call work and tell them I couldn’t get to work coz I wasn’t going to go through a cloud of pissed off wasps!!!!!
