If the ISS would require 5 mil. in total and each of the agencies pays 1 mil. except for the US then it would come 1 mil. short, which would lead to the project getting scrapped.
We should make an effort to keep the ISS alive. I mean it is our generations Pyramid or Monolith, something for future generations to study and come up with some crazy ancient alien theory’s.
